Being a fiduciary means we are legally and ethically required to put your best interests first at all times. Every recommendation we make is based solely on what benefits you.
Many advisors start with investments. We start with you. Our Salient Planning Process is built around understanding your goals, your values, and your vision for retirement. From there, we create a financial plan that integrates investments, taxes, income planning, and protection strategies — so you can retire with confidence.
We specialize in working with individuals and couples who are approaching retirement or already retired. Our clients have worked and saved for many years and are now looking to turn their nest egg into a reliable, tax-efficient income stream.
No — We work with clients across the country through secure virtual meetings as well as in-person sessions for those nearby.
While investment management is part of what we do, our approach is comprehensive. We help with retirement income planning, Social Security timing, tax strategies, estate planning coordination, insurance reviews, and ongoing financial decision-making.
We believe investing should be disciplined, diversified, and aligned with your goals. Our focus is on managing risk, lowering costs, and being tax-efficient — especially as retirement approaches. We design a tax-smart withdrawal strategy that combines Social Security, pensions (if available), and investment income. The goal is to create a “retirement paycheck” you can count on — steady, sustainable, and resilient to market fluctuations.
Yes — tax planning is integrated into every financial plan we create. We help with strategies like Roth conversions, RMD planning, and tax-efficient withdrawals. While we don’t prepare tax returns, we frequently collaborate with clients’ tax professionals to ensure everything works together.
We don’t draft legal documents, but we help you think through your estate plan and work closely with estate attorneys to make sure your documents reflect your wishes and align with your financial plan.
We operate on a transparent, fee-based model. Fees are typically based on a percentage of the assets we manage. I’ll explain all costs clearly before we begin so there are no surprises.

Bring whatever gives you a clear picture of your financial life — recent account statements, Social Security estimates, tax returns, or even just a list of questions. Don’t worry about organizing everything perfectly — part of my job is helping you make sense of it all.
At minimum, we meet with clients once or twice a year to review progress, but we are available anytime you need guidance. Financial planning is ongoing so we are here to adjust your plan whenever things change.
However you are most comfortable — phone, email, video, or in-person. Many clients appreciate virtual meetings for convenience, while others prefer to sit down together. Either way, you’ll always know how to reach me.
